VoIP gateway
 The
MultiVoIP gateway is available in two-, four- and eight-port
models, and includes features selected specifically for implementing SIP
telephony. The gateways connect to analog ports on telephony gear using two,
four or eight FXS or FXO interfaces, connect to an IP network using a
10/100BaseT interface, include an RS-232 command port, are controlled via
Web browser, and are flash upgradeable. The new models support SIP for
sending and receiving voice over an IP network, T.38 real-time fax relaying
for VoIP equipment interoperability, voice activity detection for silence
compression, comfort noise generation for a more natural speaking
experience, and 5.3 Kbps voice compression for maximizing bandwidth.

 The
Revolution x16 Server features OCTEON CN3860, a 16-core,
64-bit MIPS processor that includes integrated accelerators that perform
encryption, compression and TCP packet processing in hardware. It consumes
only 50 watts and ships with Linux burned into the on-board flash, along
with development tools and applications pre-installed and ready to run on
the internal hard drive. It is loaded with Linux, Apache, MySQL and
PHP/Perl/Python to offer core programs for Web and e-commerce servers, as
well as open source database software MySQL and PostgreSQL on the standard
production build.

Wireless conferencing
 The
Bosch Wireless DCN system is an enterprise-class wireless
digital conferencing solution. The wireless central unit provides control
for up to 150 wireless discussion units and 93 interpreter units. Networks
can be set up in a single branch or redundant loop configurations, depending
on the installed equipment. Operating in the 2.4-GHz band, the wireless
discussion unit features multilayer protection to prevent eavesdropping and
unauthorized access. It is also protected against interference from other
wireless equipment, such as mobile phones, Bluetooth devices and Wi-Fi
networks, allowing for maximum speech intelligibility at all times.
