 The
VSX 7000s is a high-quality, versatile group videoconferencing
solution for medium to large rooms. The unit includes an embedded speaker
and subwoofer, has embedded dual monitor support and includes multiple
methods of sharing data, videos and pictures with all conference
participants. The VSX 7000s connects to any TV or XGA display for system
flexibility, includes SIP support and 360-degree room coverage using the
Polycom microphone array with multiple microphones. VSX Release 8.0 software
provides video performance improvement, extended data-sharing capabilities,
improved system reliability and more flexibility for both the network
administrator and end-user.

Live collaboration
Elluminate Live! 6.5 provides comprehensive American
Disabilities Act 508C compliance, improved video, enhanced accessibility,
usability and scalability. The solution for live collaboration, conferencing
and e-learning includes multiple streams of closed captioning, increased
font sizes for text messages, the ability to automatically detect platform
color themes and the ability to work with screen reader products. All of the
closed captioning can be recorded and is available for review while watching
the recording. Users have the ability to broadcast video from Mac OS X
10.2.x or higher, and have additional Windows support for compressed video,
Direct X video, and high-end cameras for broadcasting video. The
application-sharing facility allows users to easily share any applications
on their desktop with others in the session, even when individual users are
on different operating platforms.

On-demand service
Intended for impromptu team meetings, weekly client calls or
other calls involving up to as many as 20 participants, iLinc
On-Demand
provides flexibility for Web and audio conferencing. On-Demand audio
conferencing allows users to create or participate in calls with no advance
notice, at any time, on any day. The service is priced on a
per-minute/per-participant basis. Each authorized user on an account will
receive an iLinc On-Demand card with a permanent dial-in number, URL and
activation PIN code. Separate conference accounts can be established for
each user, as needed. Conferences can be rescheduled as needs change,
without any costs for rescheduling. Customers only pay for the time used.

Accurate usage tracking
ConferenceManager 6.0 is a premises-based audio and Web
conferencing system featuring multitenant capabilities, allowing companies
to maintain multiple accounts on the same server for easier bill back,
greater security and better utilization of their enterprise-wide
conferencing infrastructure. The feature allows the setup of up to 100
logical user groups. Each group has a group-specific view of the system,
including access to a global address book for easy management of scheduled
and spontaneous conference calls. The addition of corporate branding,
customized e-mail conference invitations and tenant-specific reporting
allows each group to utilize the system on its own terms. The system
provides each tenant account with a unique dial-in number, calling number ID
(ANI), direct inward dial number (DID) and URL.

Video communications
 The
Video Communications Solution (VCS) for the company’s Strata
CIX family of IP business communication systems provides affordable
point-to-point video communications and collaboration (desktop and
applications sharing) capabilities. Using voice extensions, video can
seamlessly be added to telephone conversations. A number of default settings
(on, off, communication rate and window size for video) can be configured to
meet the individual user’s needs. The new functionality is integrated into
the telephony capabilities, with features specifically tailored to handle
video telephony, including features such as hold, transfer and forward.
Future releases of VCS will include features such as presence, file
transfer, instant messaging and three-party videoconferencing.
